Philippines - Blister Packing Machine

Capsule blister packaging machine becomes a hot product of us in the first month of 2024. Up to now, we have shipped three automatic capsule packing machine to New Zealand, Slovakia and Tunisia separately. 

This weekend, we will deliver a new capsule blister packing machine to Philippines, who has purchased his first automatic blister packaging machine in 2019. One after another, the Philippine customer purchased capsule counting machine, capsule filling machine, strip packing machine from us since our machines are of stable performance, full functions, high automation, excellent efficiency, durable production and long service life. There is no doubt that machines of these features can help enterprises to save cost as much as possible.

Blister packing machine can form blisters with transparent plastic film or sheet. Then different kinds of product will be filled into the blister and then covered by PTP film through heat sealing or gluing. Therefore, this machine is commonly used for PTP/PVC/PP blister packaging of medicines (tablets, capsules), food, medical instruments, health care products, electronic components and other similar materials. Plastic sheet is firstly heated and then formed in mold and through compressed air to blisters of specific shape and size. This is actually the principle of blister forming on blister packing machine.

Thereafter, the products are packed into the formed blister automatically or semi-automatically as per the feature of them. 

For the solid product such as capsule and tablet,  sugar-coated tablets, gel pills,we normally use brush to feed them into the blister bubble, some irregular shape of product, such as injection, irregular materials, medical instruments, food and electronic parts, we need to feed by hand. Or for high speed blister packing machine, we can adopt the robot hand to fetch and place the product into the blister container automatically to sae labor force. 

For liquid product, we will adopt different kinds of filling pump to fill them into the blister. As per the flow-ability and viscosity of the liquid, we will use peristaltic pump for water-like liquid, such as olive oil, essential oil etc. For higher viscosity semi-liquid, for example, cream, jam, we will use piston pump or rotary valve pump , ceramic pump. This is not always a fixed principle for choosing the pump but we will check the video of liquid flowability and then confirm the pump type to use. Only in this way, we can ensure and avoid mistake. Meanwhile, after we finish producing the machine, we will try our best to find some simialr products to test the pump for customer, such as oil, butter, jam etc from our local market.

 After filling, then the filled blister should be sealed. It is known that blister packing machine has two types of heat sealing mode, namely roller and flat. Flat heat sealing is more effective than roller heat sealing, while roller heat sealing is faster than the other one in speed and reliability. After heat sealing, the blisters are punched and discharged as finished products for cartoning, which is another line that can be connected to the blister packaging machine for fully automation. 

Especially for the pharmaceutical and food company, the automation is the tendency in the future to save labor cost. The automatic production line can start from blister packing machine--flow packing machine-- cartoning machine- cellophane wrapping machine or bundle packing machine--encasing machine / big box packing machine.
