This serves as a practical reference case demonstrating the high throughput and robustness of our supplement gel emulsifier and complete turn‑key plant solutions.

  1. Project Overview: Turn‑key Dietary Fiber Gel Supplement Production Line

This custom‑built dietary fiber gel supplement production line for European clients covers the full workflow: powder feeding & conveying, gel emulsification & blending, intermediate product buffering & storage, in‑place cleaning via CIP system, filling on the multi‑lane sachet packaging machine featuring seamless back-sealing technology, and final packaging with the stick pack sorting cartoning machine, forming a complete supplement filling line.

Orders for individual equipment modules were placed in May 2025, including the powder conveying system, supplement gel Emulsifying machine unit with circulation & cleaning skid, Film-sealing multi‑lane stick sachet gel packaging machine, and stick sachet sorting cartoning machine. All machinery completed manufacturing, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and sea shipment according to agreed delivery milestones. Our field engineers carried out on‑site installation and commissioning in‑house at the customer’s plant by the end of 2025, with the full CIP system connected and validated for mass production.

The whole plant complies with CE‑marking requirements for the European market. All product‑contact surfaces adopt food‑grade 316 / 316L stainless steel. Localized HMI touch panels, control systems, operation manuals and nameplates are fully supplied to meet European hygiene compliance for dietary supplement manufacturing. During FAT, we ran real‑customer formulations and performed production trials for three gel variants: sticky gel, watery gel and standard nutrition gel, resolving formulation‑related risks before equipment shipment.

2. System Composition of the Dietary Fiber Gel Supplement Production Line

The full dietary fiber gel supplement production line consists of four core interconnected modules. The CIP system is cross‑connected to all process tanks and filling equipment to support full‑line Cleaning‑in‑Place.

2.1 Dust‑tight Powder Conveying System

This module comprises the 800‑type dust‑free feeding station, flexible‑hose vacuum feeder and negative‑pressure dust‑removal unit. It handles powder raw materials such as maltodextrin and fructose for gel production, transferring 500 kg powder within 10‑15 minutes. The system sends NPN negative‑trigger digital signals to interlock with the weighing module of the supplement gel emulsifier, enabling automatic, on‑demand powder dosing, minimizing manual handling and cross‑contamination risk.

2.2 Supplement Gel Homogenizing Emulsifier & Buffer Storage System

The heart of the process is the 1000 L supplement gel emulsifier (triple‑jacket electrically‑heated emulsification tank, 316L stainless steel). It is equipped with top wall‑scraping agitator + high‑speed disperser plus bottom high‑shear homogenizer. Additional scope includes Mettler Toledo weighing modules, vacuum assembly and a 20 P chiller. Two 1000 L triple‑jacket heated buffer tanks store intermediate gel batches. Key electrical components are sourced from international brands Siemens, Schneider Electric and ABB. Closed‑loop automatic control covers temperature regulation, variable‑frequency stirring and vacuum level, perfectly adapted for emulsification and mixing of high‑viscosity dietary‑fiber gel.

2.3 CIP System (Cleaning‑in‑Place System)

Our fully‑automatic three‑tank CIP system features a 1000 L acid tank, 1000 L caustic tank and 2000 L purified‑water tank, together with acid‑alkaline recovery tanks, booster & return pumps, conductivity meters, pH sensors and level transmitters. It performs fully automatic in‑place cleaning for all product‑contact chambers and piping of the supplement gel emulsifier, buffer tanks and AB‑seal multi‑lane stick pack gel packaging machine, without equipment disassembly, satisfying food‑grade hygiene standards for nutritional gel production.
Expansion challenge: After commissioning of the second production line, the shared raw‑material preparation unit and CIP system serve two independent supplement filling lines. This dual‑line shared operation was not considered in the original design. Our engineering team upgraded PLC programs and control logic to implement this shared architecture and save the customer’s capital investment.

2.4 AB‑seal Multi‑lane Stick Pack Gel Packaging Machine (Irregular‑pouch Gel Filling)

AB-seal stick sachet package

(Non-folded back-sealing technology)

The Seamless Back-Seal multi‑lane stick bag gel packaging machine is a 5‑lane irregular twist‑seal stick‑pack unit. Pouch dimension is 165 × 54 mm with pre‑punched hanging hole. A custom‑sized 80 ml ceramic pump fills 66 g or 75 g gel with filling accuracy of ±0.1 g. Built‑in nitrogen flushing extends shelf‑life. Dedicated CIP ports allow the whole product‑contact zone to connect with the plant‑wide CIP system. Reserved mounting positions are prepared for Videojet laser coders for traceability marking on sachets.

2.5 Stick Sachet Sorting Cartoning Machine

The stick pack sorting cartoning machine automatically interfaces with the upstream Unedged sealing multi‑lane stick pack gel packaging machine. It orderly arranges stick‑pack sachets and supports two carton configurations: 10‑sachet or 20‑sachet packing. Automatic divider insertion is triggered for the 20‑sachet format,Arranged in two layers within the box. It integrates a German Buhnen hot‑melt glue system, multi‑head Videojet ink‑jet printing, laser marking and SG‑300 checkweigher. All moving assemblies are protected by safety guards with safety‑door interlock stop function to complete the final automatic cartoning workflow.

3. On‑site Production Performance: Validated Under 100 000‑sachets‑per‑day Intensive Operation

Since start‑up at the end of 2025, this complete gel  supplement production line has been operating reliably on‑site at the European customer’s plant for more than 8 months, mass‑producing dietary‑fiber gel supplements at a steady capacity of 100 000 sachets daily. The full dietary fiber gel supplement production line — from gel preparation in the supplement gel homogenizer, automated sanitation by the CIP system, gel filling via the  multi‑lane stick pack gel packaging machine without edge-sealing technology, through to cartoning by the stick pack sorting and cartoning machine line— runs in synchronized automation with low failure rates, earning positive feedback from the customer’s production team.
Practical challenge solved: Dietary‑fiber gel features variable high viscosity, which imposes high requirements on mixing & dispersion performance of the gel emulsifier, dosing stability of ceramic pumps on the 5‑lane stick sachet packaging machine, and cleaning efficiency of viscous gel residues by the CIP system. Continuous production has proven good formulation compatibility of our equipment.

4. Project Expansion: From Single‑line Setup to Three‑line Production Layout

Satisfied with stable performance of the dietary fiber gel supplement production line, the customer placed the order for their second supplement filling line in early 2026.

The second line only comprises filling & packaging sections, without duplicated raw‑material preparation and sanitation units. It shares the existing supplement gel emulsifier raw‑material station and CIP system. One set of CIP system now serves two AB‑seal multi‑lane stick pack gel packaging machine filling lines simultaneously.

Technical challenge: Original PLC software was designed for single‑line independent operation. Shared raw‑material supply and shared CIP system for dual‑line production represented a new requirement. We re‑engineered program logic to implement request queuing for raw‑material supply and mutual‑exclusion scheduling for cleaning cycles to avoid resource conflicts between two lines. The upgraded control system has achieved stable dual‑line collaborative manufacturing. The second line is currently in production.

Most recently, the customer has issued a formal purchase order for the third production line. This third line focuses on raw‑material gel manufacturing and expands base‑gel processing capacity with additional Homogenizing Emulsifier units for large‑scale dietary‑fiber gel base stock production. Starting from the first complete turn‑key dietary fiber gel supplement production line, followed by the second filling‑only line and the third raw‑material‑processing line, three consecutive repeat orders fully validate customer recognition for our equipment’s high throughput, operational stability, hygienic CIP‑ready design and formulation adaptability of the supplement gel emulsifier.
