Back sealing sachets and four-side sealing sachets

Sachet type is always an important basis for powder packing machine selection. In other words, sachet type determines which kind of sachet packing machine the buyers should choose to package their powder since machines are not universal.

What are the difference between back sealing sachet and four side sealing sachet?

1) Back-sealing sachet packing

Back-seal sachets, or middle-seal sachets, simply refer to the sachets which are vertically sealed on the back and horizontally sealed at upper and lower sachet edges.

Some back-seal sachets are premade. They are processed on premade sachet packing machine to pack powder. They can also be manually fed to semi-automatic sachet packing machine and then package powder on the machine. On the other hand, back-seal sachets can also be made by the sachet former of a vertical sachet packing machine automatically.

Normally, back-seal sachets are used to pack material which has large size or should be preserved by filling gas.

2. Four-side sealing sachet packing

Four-side seal sachets’ edges are all sealed. They are made from two piece of film. Four-side seal sachets can be more three-dimensional and give more prominence to picture design and logo effect. Therefore, they are more applied for high-grade product packaging.

Similar to back-seal sachets, four-side seal sachets can also be premade or made by the sachet former of either horizontal or vertical sachet packing machine.

However, four-side seal sachets have limited size due to limited adjustment range of sachet former of vertical and horizontal sachet making machines.

Normally, if the customers want four-side seal sachets, premade sachet packing machine is recommended for  ideal sachets’ 3D effect.

Both back sealing sachet and four side sealing sachet can be packed on our sachet packing machine. On the sachet packing machine, no matter what kind of sachet pattern, it can be realized by changing the bag former and mould. Besides, the product to be filled , such as powder, granule and liquid , they can be changed by chaning the feeder
