2024 SWOP Exhibition Record

It is the first time for HUNAN GRAND to participate in the SWOP (Shanghai World of Packaging) exhibition, so we have made full preparations:

We arranged 4 sets of machines for on-site demonstration, and prepared sufficient products and packing materials for continuous operation during the exhibition for 3 days, also provided beautiful gifts and delicious snacks for visitors of our booth.

Moreover, our 5 experienced salespeople, 3 senior engineers, and 1 photographer participated in the SWOP exhibition, to respond to the visitors requirements timely at any time.

Opportunities are reserved for those who are prepared. As expected, on the first day of the exhibition, Nov. 18th, our booth welcomed many enthusiastic visitors, they visited from the four directions of the open booth and were very interested in our demonstrated machines. Our staff was so busy with visitors reception that had no time to drink water.

Our tooth super star was the vial forming liquid filling and sealing machine, a powerful machine which can complete the whole production from vial (or other plastic containers) forming, liquid filling and sealing in a single machine. It is very suitable for small- or single-dose production for food, cosmetics, daily chemicals and other products.

There are 8 different models for series of the liquid filling and sealing machine, no matter how small enterprise even just engaged in production, or large factory with high production capacity requirements, we can always recommend the suitable model to meet your requirements.

The second star is the PP blister forming filling and sealing machine. Different from ordinary blister packing machines, this machine can shape PP material into blister as customer need, and complete filling and sealing processes.

PP materials are commonly used in food packaging industry for the property: applicable to be sterilized at high temperature without deformation and leakage. While ordinary PVC, PET materials, etc. cannot do this. Therefore, 99% of blister packaging machines on the market cannot realize the sealing of PP materials.

Although some foreign machines can achieve PP sealing function, the purchase price is several times that of ours. As a result, all visitors who have PP packaging requirements were very interested in this machine.

Finally, it is time for the tube filling and sealing machine, and the forming machine for plastic blister/tray packing. The former is mainly used in cosmetics, food and daily chemical industries. The latter is mainly used for production and processing of food trays.

Overall, our booth was pretty good in the exhibition, there were still customers coming to inquire us in the last minute before moving out the exhibition.

However, SWOP is a packaging exhibition, but many visitors requirements were undefined, may be they were just interested more about our powerful and practice machines, which perhaps the inspiration for them to improve their products packaging ways. These customers have no specific production requirements in the short term, and basically need long-term communication and follow-up.

From our observation, most of the customer production requirements are related with paper products packaging, aluminum products, plastic products and other finished products. It seems the SWOP exhibition orientation are not so match our packing machines, so the conversion rate is not high and directly, while we have made friends with many new customers and colleagues from the SWOP. It's a very rewarding exhibition!
