1. Differences

Both alcohol wipes and alcohol pads are used for disinfection and sterilization, but there are the following differences between them.

l Application

Alcohol pads are generally used to wipe a small area, such as glasses, mobile screens, keys, etc. Alcohol wipes are mainly used to wipe hands, months, tables, etc. So alcohol pads are always with smaller size than alcohol wipes.

l Packing Method

Alcohol pads are very small, and there is only a single pad in a sachet. So it is very easy to carry. Alcohol wipes are generally packaged multiple wipes which can be packed separately or as a whole in a bag.

l Cost Comparison

Alcohol pads are made of non-woven fabrics or wrapping paper, usually contain only alcohol. Alcohol wipes are made of non-woven fabrics as well, which generally contain alcohol, skin care ingredients, disinfectants, antioxidants, etc. So the cost is relatively higher than alcohol pads.

People allergic to alcohol are not recommended using alcohol pads/wipes.
