5. Intermittent machine shutdown

Another common failure of the wet wipes packing machine is its intermittent shutdown and inconstant speeds. Remove the board at the machine rear and it can be found that the shaft rod of the motor falls from the gearbox or the connection between them is loose. Fasten the screws to solve the problem.

In addition, the main motor runs through carton brush contact. That the carton brush is so seriously worn that it doesn’t contact the slide ring or has poor friction will also lead to the machine’s intermittent shutdown. In this case, replace with a new carton brush of the same model to solve the problem.

6.Bubbles or irregular marks on the seal

This failure is also pretty common. It doesn’t lead to content leakage but influences the package's beauty and product image. It’s mainly caused by two factors.

1) After the machine has been used for a long time, dust, plastic scraps, and other dirt adhere to the high-temperature belt and make it neither smooth nor flat. As a result, the heat at the sachet edge part to be sealed cannot be normally distributed and bubbles emerge at the seal after cold pressing. Clean or replace the high-temperature belt to clear this failure. A high-temperature belt is about 1.5cm wide and 22μm thick. If the dirt on it cannot be cleaned away, discard it as useless and replace it with a new one.

2) The irregular marks on the cold pressing rollers can be embossed on the sachets so that there are obvious marks at the sachet seal. It’s suggested to change the cold pressing roller to maintain a neat sachet form.

7. Note

1) Please place the wet wipes machine in an airy dry room and maintain the room temperature at about 25°C.

2) Lubricate all moving parts with 6# engine oil every 48 working hours, especially the gears, the bearings, and the gearbox.

3) Remove the machine dust regularly and keep the machine clean. During machine shutdown, disconnect the power plug of the machine and cover the machine with a cloth.

4) After long-time production, please turn on the cooling fan before stopping the machine and then turn off the machine after the temperature drops. The high-temperature belt is prone to be damaged if the machine is stopped when its temperature is still high.

5) Clean the dirt attached to the high-temperature belt regularly to ensure the sealing quality.

6) Seriously worn parts should be replaced immediately to extend the machine’s service life.
