Choice for wet wipes

Currently, most wet wipes on the market are common wipes and sanitary wipes, somewhat different from disinfectant wipes. Therefore, before using wet wipes, we should have the knowledge to choose the right wipes.

If we want to use wet wipes for the purpose of disinfection, disinfectant wet wipes are optimum. With non-fabric, fabric, air-laid paper or other material as carrier, purified water as production water and some excipients as preservatives and disinfectants, the disinfectant wet wipes can disinfect hands, skin and objects. The killing rate of the wet wipes to natural bacteria in field environment test can reach higher than 90.0% and that to escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, and albicans can reach even 99.9%.

Although the ordinary and sanitary wet wipes are made from the same material with disinfectant wet wipes, they have different roles in daily use. The former can clean hand, skin and object surface while the later can clean and more importantly, sterilize them.

Generally speaking, ordinary wipes can be used for cleaning at home or outdoors. Furthermore, the user can choose sanitary wipes to sterilize. But the wipes can only kill bacteria after a certain time and don’t have equal disinfectant effect to the disinfectant wipes. Only the disinfectant wipes can be chosen for the purpose of preventing sudden flu as an example. On the other hand, the users should have basic understanding to the effect of these wipes and then choose the proper ones depending on their needs.
