As we all know, India has a very strong position in the generic drug market, so there are a lot of local pharmaceutical companies there.

We have an Indian customer who purchased a Soft capsule production line and an NJP400 hard gelatin capsule filling machine from Hunan Grand in 2023. During a recent follow-up visit, we learned that our equipment is currently running very well, but he was frustrated by its excessively high speed and wanted to slow it down. We told him he could simply set the appropriate speed directly on the touchscreen. Then he told us some good news: their factory will be purchasing another new production line in 2026. We are currently confirming the specific equipment requirements. We believe the order for this new production line will be finalized soon.

While many in the foreign trade sector hold a negative impression of Indian buyers—for example, that they always haggle without actually buying, or always want more samples for free—I believe this is a prejudice. I'm not sure about other industries, but Indian customers in the pharmaceutical industry are very generous. Due to the industry's specialized nature, Indian businesspeople in the pharmaceutical sector tend to be of high caliber. Once they approve of our equipment, they usually place orders quickly and never delay payment.

I believe this is why India's pharmaceutical industry has become one of its most successful globalized sectors. Through flexible policies, cost control, and technological accumulation, it has successfully perfected generic drug production, providing indispensable and affordable medicines to the world, especially developing countries. Today, this "world pharmacy" is striving to overcome supply chain dependence and fierce market competition, moving towards higher value-added innovation. Its future development remains crucial to the global pharmaceutical landscape.
