The working principle of the chiller is to inject a certain amount of water into the internal water tank of the machine, cool the water through the refrigeration system of the chiller, and then inject the low-temperature frozen water into the equipment to be cooled by the water pump inside the machine. The chilled water takes away the heat inside the machine, and the high-temperature hot water flows back to the water tank again for cooling, so as to achieve the cooling effect for the equipment.
Operation Tips
1)The refrigerating water pump will not work if no water in the water tank.
2)There is a built-in water level protector in the water tank. If the water level is too low or the tank is empty, the water pump will stop and alarm automatically.
3)If the chiller runs all the time after starting, no need to change the water.
4)Turn off the main power when the machine will not work for a long time, and drain out the inside water off the machine to avoid the water scaling and degradation. At that time, the water must be replaced. The chiller is equipped with an outfall for cleaning the tank.
5)In order to prevent the evaporator freezing, do not set temperature below 5℃ (except the low temperature chillers).
6)Clean the condenser, evaporator and the water filter regularly to ensure the best cooling efficiency and best working condition.
Installation requirements
Choose the cooling tower according to the cooling capacity, and install the plumping pipe according to the size of the chiller unit, otherwise it will cause high pressure overload to affect cooling efficiency and increase energy consumption.
Preparation for startup
1)For the first operation, please confirm the following issues:
2)Check exactly the power supply voltage and phases with the name plate.
3)Before starting the pump, make sure the built-in storage tank is full of chilled medium, which should be added 1~2 times, since the pipeline and circulation pipeline of the chiller are empty, and they need to be filled well.
4)If the running direction of the cooling water pump and the fan of the cooling tower are reversed, exchange any two phases’ connection.
5)For air cooled chiller, make sure that the radiator is clear.
Solution to low pressure for the refrigerant shortage
1)When water temperature is >5℃ and the pressure is < 2kg/cm2, it indicates refrigerant shortage. Firstly fill the leak, change the dryer filter and drawing vacuum to fill sufficient refrigerant.
2)While found the leaking part of refrigerant sink in the water, pls stop the chiller immediately, and discharge water of the water tank quickly. In order to avoid that the chiller is damaged badly for the compressor suck water, please notify the after-sale service for dealing with the problem.
Solution to low pressure for the compressor start failure
1)The set temperature is too high or the temperature switch is damaged;
2)The trigger is damaged;
3)The anti-freezing switch is damaged;
4)The pressure switch is tripping or damaged;
5)The overload protector of the compressor is damaged or tripping;
6)The electromagnetic relay or the overload protector is damaged;
7)The level of the water tank is too low;
8)The refrigerating water protecting switch is damaged;
9)The compressor can not be operated if the stated controlling switch or the circuit is faulty.
