Types and differentiation of chillers

Chillers are mainly used to cool mechanical equipment in industrial production.

Types of chillers: According to the classification of heat dissipation, it can be divided into water-cooled chillers and air-cooled chillers.

Screw chillers are mainly used in large refrigeration occasions, such as above 200 KW.Scroll compressors are mostly used below 200 KW!

Air-cooled chiller: easy to install and maintain.Noise, volume and energy efficiency ratio are the key parameters to judge the performance of air-cooled water machine. There will be a comparison video later in the article.

Water-cooled chiller: high energy efficiency, small size, low noise.The disadvantage is the need to install cooling towers, water pollution and so on.

Distinguish between air-cooled and water-cooled chillers: the most direct way is to look at the appearance, air-cooled top or other parts of the cooling fan, water-cooled is not!
