How to Choose Chinese Blister Packing Machine

For professional technician and engineer, they are familiar with the common machines, such as blister packing machine. Here I would list out some basic and important knowledge ad following:

1. What is the blister packing machine?

Blister packing machine can fulfill the following main working process including blister forming, product forming, sealing for PVC/PET with alu foil or composite film, and then finally product output. There are some extra optional functions such as electrical tracking for eye mark on the packing alu foil or film. Secondly, for the high speed PVC/alu blister packaging machine or alu/alu blister packing, we can add the camera detection and rejection device to make sure each blister has full capsule/tablet in each blister packet. Thirdly, the standard expiry date and production date, etc. On the blister packing machine are done by steel letters embossing, but we can add the other printing method on the machine such as ink jet printer. Also we can add the counting function to record how many product and packed on the machine.

For any packing machine, the feeding part is the most important. As for the blister packing, for pharmaceutical company, the common product are capsule, tablet, they are fed by common brush type feeder for alu/PVC(or PET). for alu/alu blister or high speed alu/PVC packing, we can use the special feeder to ensure the qualified rate of the final product. Ad blister packing machine can also be used for other industry, such as for food, cosmetics, hardware and medical.

For food and cosmetics, we use piston pump or peristaltic pump as per different product viscosity.

For hardware, the packing material is normally PVC/paper, and the feeding is normally done by hand manually.

2. The application for blister packing machine

As we have mentioned above, the blister packing machine is widely applied for pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, hardware and medical areas.

Pharmaceutical - hard and soft capsule, tablet, ampoule, vial or syringe blister packing.

Food - butter, joy egg, chocolate, jam, cheese, olive oil, honey, ketchup, etc.

Cosmetics - facial cream, mask, car perfume as sample product.

Hardware and medical - such as toothbrush, needle, filter tip, spark plug, etc.

3. The production capacity of blister packer

Each machine has a certain stroke and travel scope. Mini DPP-80 is normally for small scale production, and the bigger machine such as DPP-350, we can link it to work with the flow packing machine, cartoning machine to form an automatic production line. This is the tendency for the future and also will save many labor cost.
