India-alcohol pad Wet Tissue Packing Machine

Since COVID-19 spread worldwide, disinfectant wet wipes have become popular among customers and many producers have started their disinfectant wet wipe production in recent months. One of our Indian customers purchased an alcohol pad wet wipe packing machine and planed to produce disinfectant wet wipes to fight against spreading COVID-19 in India. Just as a new USA customer said, he is seeing too many people are dying and he needs to do something to help people.

An alcohol pre pad wet wipes packing machine working process are as following: packing film unwinding and folding, non-woven or other fabric material folding and packing, liquid filling, sealing, cutting, and discharging. After this process, our Indian customer wants to produce twin sachets alcohol pad, with liquid being filled in one sachet and not filled in the other so that they can produce twin sachets of a piece of wet wipe and a piece of dry wipe. To achieve this production target, we installed two liquid feeder on the machine. However, this doesn’t mean both liquid feeders will work during liquid filling. But during production, operators can connect one feeder with tank of no liquid so that this feeder will not fill liquid at all and the wipes in the sachet intended to be filled by this feeder can be dry. And then operators can set cut frequency to make the machine cut two sachets once. After a series of operations, the final products can be exactly twin sachets of a piece of wet wipe and a piece of dry wipe.

On the other hand, in the long run, if one day the producers want their products to be all wet wipes, they can just link the both feeders with liquid tank and achieve the target.

Actually, such a design that some feeders run without material can also be commonly seen on other machines, such as cartoning machine, which can further link with this wet wipe packing machine to form a packing-cartoning production line. Months ago, we exported a cartoning machine to Thailand. That cartoning machine have 5 feeders for the customer to carton condom sachets. However, as the customer requires, the machine should be able to carton not only 1 sachet for a product, but also 5 sachets for another product or even 2, 3 and 4 sachets. That means, if they want to pack 4 pieces of sachets into a carton, there will be a feeder running without any sachet material inside. But if the customer want to pack 5 sachets in a carton, the fifth feeder can also be placed with material and the machine can feed five sachets to the conveyor in a stack for cartoning.

Such a design seems common but very useful, especially when customers have request to the product quantity, as the above examples show, twin wipes that one is wet and the other is dry, or the cartons of variable pieces of sachets for different products. Therefore, this wet wipes packing machine can be set and controlled depending on practical production and fulfill the producers’ production goal perfectly.
