Actually, if you are interested in perfume, you might find that there are mainly two kinds of packages for it. I searched on the Internet and found the main package of perfume is like this:

A bottle of perfume by Yves Saint Laurent

(A bottle of perfume by Yves Saint Laurent)

However, what our customer wants is to pack perfume in another package, just like the following picture, i.e., packing perfume in blisters. This package seems to be less known by people, but compared with bottled perfume, it has its own special advantages.

A blister is smaller than a glass bottle. The small size enables it to be taken conveniently. For this reason, a perfume blister can be placed at any corner of a car, a cabinet or a room for its standing scent. Besides, a small amount of perfume in such a small blister can run out quickly. Therefore, if customers want another odor, it’s not wasting for them to change it.

Compared with glass bottle, small size is a typical advantage of blister. However, we all know that perfume in bottles can be pumped and sprayed out by the sprayer, but how can perfume in blisters give out aroma?

In fact, just like perfume bottles to be designed elaborately, perfume blisters are also designed artfully for its structure. A blister is made up of three layers, the hollow blister, the alu foil for seal and the most important, dialysis membrane. The dialysis membrane for perfume is between the layers of blister and alu foil. It is a membrane of a large number of micro pores which can let molecules pass through. It also applies the principle of concentration difference. This principle refers to that molecules can move from a place of high concentration to that of low concentration. And perfume concentration inside blisters is exactly higher than that outside. Therefore, when we use the perfume blister, we can just rip away the surface alu foil through the breaking line and then perfume molecules can automatically move out though enormous pores of the film.

Beside package, perfume can also be classified by its aromatic source. The source determines how the perfume smells like. For example, our Malaysian customer’s perfume aroma is similar to some fruits, orange possible. We can also find some perfume that has smell of flowers (plant source), civet (animal source), lichens (other natural source) or maybe some other aromas (synthetic sources).

With diverse classifications, consumers can find out the most suitable perfume for themselves. Some statistic once shows that market amount of perfume industry in 2015 increased by 2.9% and reached USD 15 billion and the figure is mounting year by year. This fact indicates that people have higher consumption on perfume, which will have good influence on perfume producers and in some ways, even lead to the development of packing machinery, such as mono dose plastic bottle forming filling and sealing machine, mono dose blister packing machine our Malaysian customer purchases and bottle filling and capping machine.
