Hair-care Products and package

Hair-care products refer to the products acting on hair, such as shampoo, hair conditioner, styling gel, hair dyeing cream, hair tail oil and so on. The products can be used by applying or spraying on hair for the purpose of cleaning, protection and beautifying, etc.. As packaging machinery provider, we often receive machine order from buyers in hair-care industry.

Before we recommend proper machinery to the buyer, we can firstly have a basic knowledge on different hair-care products.

First of all, the hair-care products in the future tend to be natural, degradable and environment-friendly, such as surfactant synthesized from natural oil, plant-extracted hair-care raw materials, essential oil aromatic substances, biological conditioner, biological fermentation hair-care raw materials, natural hair-care oil, nano wrapping hair-care oil, organic-certified hair-care products, highly degradable hair-care agents or surfactant.

Next, let’s know something about the product. Shampoo is made from surfactant, thickening agent, stabilizer, conditioner, preservative, water, essence and color. These raw materials are mixed and homogenized to fluid or viscous products through a mixing and homogenizing machine. Shampoo is normally used to clean hair and have some auxiliary functions including antidandruff, conditioning, antipruritic and protection.

Hair conditioner can also be made by the same machine with shampoo. But its raw materials are different. Being synthesized from emulsifier, moisturizer, water, hair conditioner, preservative and solvent thickener, hair conditioner can condition the hair, repair hair damage, eliminate hair static electricity or supplement water and oil for hair.

Hair dyeing products are mainly mixed and emulsified from color agent, emulsifier, conditioner, surfactant, chelating agent and pH regulator. As the name shows, they are used for hair dyeing. They can be divided into oxidation type and non-oxidation type according to different mechanisms or into single agent and double agent according to the dosage form.

Except the products introduced above, other hair-care products include hair styling products (gel, condensation, wax and so on), hair perming product, anti-hair-loss and anti-hair-breaking products, hair-care oil, hair-care sprayer and so on. As we mentioned, these products are firstly mixed, homogenized and emulsified from their raw materials. And after emulsification, we can provide special packaging machines for the viscous or fluid products. For example, our bottle filling and capping machine can package the products in bottles of different shape and sachet packing machine can package them in sachets with different seal form, namely, back-seal, three-side seal and four-side seal.
