3D Printing for blister container

1990s saw the advent of 3D Printing, or 3DP for short. After about 30-year development, 3DP technology has been used in many industrial fields. As some news have reported yet, 3D printing was once used to print a car called Urbee, chocolates, plane, gun and even artificial liver tissue. However, all of them seem to be far away from us. Anyway we concentrate more on packing machinery and the related industries or fields such as pharmaceutical industry or food industry. It seems not possible for us to apply 3D printing technology to print a packing machine for practical production. But today, we are deeply impressed by 3D printing technology and realize that it can exactly help us to deal with customers who are unfamiliar to the machines..

We had a customer from Morocco who wants to purchase a sauce blister packing machine. But he had no concept of the filling volume and shape of his products. We also have came across this problem before and the solution is to deliver blister samples to them. But this time, it suddenly occurred to our partner that he can produce some blisters with the 3D pritner. We have sent him blister designs before and he can print blisters according to the designs.

And today the agent sent us these three pictures to show the blisters of different shape that he printed with 3D printer. As the agents told us, he will use these blisters to show the customer some basic knowledge about the products produced by a blister packing machine. Then he can do the test and adjust the size of the blister container.

To have basic to the machine and the products, customers and we have had to deliver product samples to each other in the past. But if 3D printing technology can be popularized, the troublesome delivery might be no longer necessary and we can transmit product information to each other with convenient 3D printing.
